Who? Everyone is invited!
What? To Charm Merchant Days, an annual event since 1983! Take advantage of bargain shopping; yard sales throughout the town; a grand-prize drawing of $1,000; merchant prizes; a Friday afternoon Wooly Worm Derby competition by grade school children; a Friday night old-time fiddling program; a benefit bake sale; a flea market on Saturday; a school benefit, including old-fashioned chili and fry pies; Raber's barbecued chicken; a Saturday auction with items from area residents and businesses (proceeds are placed in the Charm Community Share-N-Care fund); a Saturday morning horse fun show on the south end of town; a Saturday pie contest (all pies are then sold at auction after judging).
When? October 13th and 14th (always the Friday and Saturday of the second weekend in October).
Where? Charm, Ohio, located on State Route 557, between SR 39/US 62 west of Berlin, and Farmerstown. This small village sprung up at a rural country crossroads in the farming area of early German (Clark) Township. Charm has always been of service to the community. Visitors marvel at it's homey atmosphere, its picturesque countryside and its Amish lifestyle.
Why? Just for the fun of it!
